Tea & Cake Birthday Party

Eloise turned one this month, and to celebrate, we threw an iced tea + cake party in Bigfork, Montana. Alicia Brown came out to photograph this fun event, and as always, she captured it perfectly.

Strips of vintage fabric attached to an old umbrella frame made an incredibly cute addition to the simple, easy decor.

Eloise needed a backdrop for her cake eating debut, so we draped a frame of vintage fabric strips from the willow tree in the park.

The birthday girl is wearing a handmade dress {by Sandy of Sweet Notions} and a floral crown.  We will be posting a tutorial on the floral crown soon!

A simple setup with vintage tablecloths on a picnic table was absolutely beautiful against the green of the park.

The cake and cupcake were absolutely gorgeous.  Sweet Notions (the mastermind behind all of our cake and confectionary desires) made a carrot cake with cream cheese filling and frosting.

Did you know that you can pre-order cakes and pick them up at our summer markets?  Just head to our Facebook page and look for the order link a week before each market. Yum!

Happy Birthday Eloise!
