An Outdoor Dinner

I'm so incredibly thankful for the ability to be creative. To imagine something and then bring it to life is so much fun! I was able to do this a year ago in the mountains of Montana with a few very good friends.

My parents live right down the road from a historic ranger station that is now used as a rental. The backdrop of Bull River and the Cabinet Mountains is stunning; the perfect spot for a dinner!

We loaded up all we needed for an amazing evening, and set up under the original clothesline that Pauline Gordon used in 1908.

Hearth Magazine found the story and photos of the cabin to be intriguing enough to feature in their newest issue!! We are all so excited to see this story in the pages of Hearth…especially when looking at all the other amazing stories! As fun as it is to see my work online, I can't explain the joy I felt when I was able to see it on paper and feel it with my hands. A tangible reminder of this amazing evening that will be on the coffee table for a long, long time!

The quality of Hearth…it's more a work of art and a coffee table book than a magazine, right down to the packaging! It's brought to you by loving, hard-working hands and I'm so proud that we were able to be a part of it.

When I received my copy of the magazine, it was packaged with gorgeous brown paper, tied with string, and sealed with a wax stamp! Christmas came early for me!

Kelli Trontel is the amazing photographer behind these images
