Antiquing in Texas

I recently went to Texas to visit family, eat great food, and do some antiquing! There are few better things than home-cooked southern food. Maybe a really awesome, shabby, chippy, primitive cabinet for like five dollars..

Anyway, I love hitting Winnie & Tulula's in Athens, Texas. It is always so beautifully curated! I find something every time. I happened to be there while they were in the middle of their spring store overhaul, so there were many empty booths..but it didn't take away from the beauty. I still found some GREAT things! Just thought I'd share a few pictures with you guys! Have a GREAT week!

Another great place we stopped at was Oxbow Bakery & Antiques in Palestine, TX. SUCH  a cute place! Have you been antiquing in Texas? Where would you recommend shopping?

  1. How fun!! I live in Palestine Texas! Oxbow has the most awesome chocolate pecan pie!! Love that place!! Didn't know about that place in Athens, I will have to take a trip over there sometime soon. I also love to visit a lovely quilt store there, Needle Niche!
