A Ballerina Birthday Party

Like most little girls, my Eloise LOVES to wear pink poofy skirts and dance, and there's nothing cuter than little girls dressed up like ballerinas and dancing around like fairies! I thought for Eloise's birthday party, perhaps I could transform our living room into a ballet studio and have a REAL ballerina come and dance with them. I contacted Noble Dance Studio (a Kalispell, Montana studio), and they put me in touch with Gabrielle who teaches "storybook ballet" to 3 and 4 year olds. Decked out in her own ballet costume, she guided the little girls through some graceful moves, let them dance to ballet music, and end with a pose.

The little sweeties just ADORED Gabrielle! Just look at their faces in the pics below! So cute.

After the ballet lesson, the girls dug into dark chocolate cake frosted in pink. (It pays to have a mother who is a professional dessert baker...mmmm!) After they consumed their slices, they went back to dancing...in a less graceful and orderly fashion. Eloise has been practicing her ballet moves ever since!

  3. Absolutely perfect! My little granddaughters would be thrilled to have a ballerina party!

And just the right amount of guests so it is not too overwhelming for all.

  5. You guys sure look like you had a fun birthday party. My daughter wants to get ballet dance apparel for her birthday. I have no idea what brands, or where to go to get the apparel would be best. Would it be less expensive to get the whole ballet clothing ensemble online?
